These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lekki Business Connect platform. Please read them carefully. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Lekki Business Connect Ltd.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using LBC, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users — buyers, vendors, and visitors.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on LBC. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. Vendor Responsibilities
Vendors are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the quality of their products and services, fulfilling orders, and all communications with buyers. LBC is a discovery and visibility platform — we are not a party to transactions between buyers and vendors.
4. Prohibited Content
You may not list counterfeit goods, stolen items, illegal substances, weapons, or any content that violates Nigerian law. LBC reserves the right to remove any listing and suspend any account that violates these rules without prior notice.
5. Buyer Responsibility
Buyers are responsible for exercising due diligence before transacting. LBC provides verification tools but cannot guarantee every transaction. Always prefer verified vendors and use caution with large payments.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the LBC platform — including the logo, design, and software — is owned by Lekki Business Connect. Vendors retain ownership of their own product photos and descriptions but grant LBC a licence to display them on the platform.
7. Platform Availability
We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. LBC shall not be liable for losses arising from platform downtime or technical issues.
8. Limitation of Liability
LBC's liability to any user is limited to the amount paid to LBC in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of LBC after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via email.
